Dog Days of Summer
Summer’s flying by – we’re already halfway through! Relations Managers will be sending out fall transition forms within the next week or two, so keep an eye on your inbox! Remember that shifts are first-come, first-serve, so the sooner you get your transition form in, the better.
We have a handful of new faces around our offices. We have hired four new Twin Cities Care Supervisors within the last month as well as a new Office Coordinator in Duluth, so please make them feel welcomed! JaNae Pahlen, one of our former PCA’s, is our new OC in Duluth and she has been rocking her new role. A couple of our new nurses are still in the process of training in, but don’t be alarmed when they start calling you to set up visits with you and your client(s). We couldn’t be more excited to bring our new nurses – Robbi, Beth, Bridget, and Emily – as well as our new OC JaNae on board with us here at Student Experience. They have been and will be incredible assets to our team!
Enjoy that Cabin Week (but get your shifts covered)!
We know how hard it is to stay away from the lake now that we’re getting some sunshine and warm weather. Just a reminder that if/when you go out of town for a little R & R, make sure you get your shifts covered! Your Relations Manager will help you the best that they can, but you’ve got to take the bull by the horns and get things rolling. Please let us know ASAP if there are any dates you’re looking to have off and we will help you start the fill-in process.
Job-Searching? LinkedIn’s made it easier.
Struggling to lock down that first post-graduation job? Don’t worry; you’re definitely not alone. Trying to tackle the immense depth of online job searching is not an easy task. Read about how LinkedIn’s new app is making it easier for recent graduates to find that first job:
There’s never a wrong time to remind our PCA’s of our referral bonus program. If you refer a friend and they become an employee with us here at Student Experience, you will receive a $150 bonus (that’s a nice chunk of change!). There’s never a bad time to get $150!
