Spanish expansion for Student Experience

Student Experience has been granted a building permit for the construction of a Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) complex in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid). In addition, it has also signed a delegated development agreement with Avintia Proyectos y Construcciones S.L. Construction is set to start this month and is expected to be completed by the end of 2022. As such, Student Experience, a developer and property manager, is set to start building its very first student complex in Spain.

Student Experience is developing a student complex with 600 self-contained studios, commercial spaces and a variety of facilities. The construction method involves a combination of prefabricated elements and components that can be made on site. Johan Verweij, founder and CEO of Student Experience: "This position in Madrid is part of the European ambition of Student Experience to expand internationally. We're seeing a great demand for decent and reliable accommodation within the Spanish market. This student complex, which covers more than 23,000 m2, will be equipped with all mod cons and amenities."
