Studio specs

Studios and sizes

Student Experience Madrid Pozuelo studios are all 19m2 with a 4m2 terrace, and come fully furnished with a private bathroom and coffee corner or kitchenette. The studio height is approximately 275.

Adapted studios 27 m² are available for students with reduced mobility. These studios are not visible in the studio selector but can be requested during the booking process by indicating that you have reduced mobility.

Two toilet rolls are provided on arrival. These will not be replaced, unless you've booked the Prestige service package.

Key card access

Each studio includes a key card for secure access and to activate electricity, ensuring controlled usage.

Hanging items on the wall

Hanging items on the wall or drilling into it is not allowed. If you'd like to bring a memento from home, consider a photo frame you can place on a surface.

Adapted studios

Adapted studios are available in the studio selector, subject to availability, and offer a spacious 27m² layout, including a 6m2 terrace. These studios are designed for guests with reduced mobility and prioritized for those requiring accessibility features. Proof of eligibility will be requested upon booking.
 

Conditions

Study conditions

You are welcome to stay at this location as a student, also if you are enrolled at an educational institution abroad. This can be for a study program, an internship, or a Ph.D., for example.

Prices and services

Studio price

For an overview of all studio prices, please check this page. The monthly fee covers VAT, electricity, water, Wi-Fi, municipal taxes, 24/7 security, parking (upon availability), and cleaning services. This also provides access to facilities such as the gym, rooftop padel court, study rooms, swimming pool, and more.  

Not included:  

  • Meal plan or individual meals 
  • Costs for washing and drying 


Other fees:  

  • Down payment: € `100 (to be paid upon booking)
  • Deposit: € 1500 
  • Reservation fee: € 50 

The deposit and reservation fee must be paid together with the first month’s rent in your first transfer. The down payment will then be deducted from the total amount of the first month’s rent.

When booking a studio, you can choose a service package that fits your lifestyle. Each package includes different services, so you can shape your student life exactly the way you like.

At Madrid Pozuelo, we offer two service packages:

Meal plan

The complex features a DO EAT! restaurant. After selecting your studio, you can choose one of the meal plan options: full board, half board, or no meal plan.

Cleaning service

A cleaning service of your studio is included in your monthly fee. The frequency depends on your selected service package: 

  • Signature: once every two weeks
  • Prestige: once every week

The cleaning includes general cleaning of the floor, surfaces, and bathroom. Towels and linens are also replaced during each cleaning.

Parking

If you're staying at Student Experience, you can use the parking upon availability. The charges for the use of the parking are included in your monthly fee.

Cancellation policy

Requirements

You have signed a contract to live at Student Experience, but you changed your mind or cannot move in due to special circumstances. The cancellation policy depends on the situation, you can find more details below.  

You need a compelling reason to terminate your contract early. Examples of this are: you have been declined from your studies or cannot come to Spain anymore. In order to process a request for early termination of your contract, we need proof. The proof is, for example, a rejection letter from your educational institution.  

> 30 days to contract start date

If you want to terminate your contract > 30 days before the start date of your contract and you have a compelling reason with supporting proof, you may cancel without having to pay the charges included in the first month’s payment (studio fee, deposit, and reservation fee). Please note that the down payment made to reserve your studio is non-refundable.

< 30 days to contract start date

If you want to terminate your contract you must provide a compelling reason along with supporting proof. A compelling reason typically refers to an unforeseen situation beyond the resident’s control. 

If your termination request is approved, you will be required to pay the studio fee for the first month and the reservation fee. Your deposit will be refunded within 30 days after the adjusted contract end date. Please note that the down payment made to reserve your studio is non-refundable. 

After your contract start date

If you want to terminate the contract earlier than the contract end date, this will only be possible if you have a compelling reason and valid proof for it. A compelling reason typically refers to an unforeseen situation beyond the resident’s control.  

Upon approval, a one-month (30 days) notice period applies. This means that you will be allowed to stay in the complex for one month after the date on which you submitted the application. You will be charged an early termination fee of € 990, along with the payment of the studio fee until the new end date. The deposit will be refunded in accordance with your contract. Please note that the down payment made to reserve your studio is non-refundable. 

You can find someone to take over the agreement under the same conditions to avoid the early termination fee. The takeover process will incur an administration fee of € 250. 

If the early termination request is not approved, you must pay the studio fee until the end of the contract. For the complete cancellation policy, refer to the contract and general terms and conditions.

Reception

The reception is open from 06:00 to 22:00. You are welcome here with any questions you may have or to book the dining room, for example.

24/7 duty manager and security

Every day from 6 AM - 10 PM a duty manager is present. During the night, you can rely on the security guard. In addition, security cameras are present at various locations in and around the complex.

As a resident, you'll get access to a service portal and app.

Study room

Study without being distracted? The study room is a bright, open space where you can study peacefully. Co-Study Sessions are also held here, so you can focus optimally and have inspiring breaks with brain food, your neighbours and fun activities.

Meeting rooms

In the meeting rooms on the ground floor you can meet with your project group in peace.

Lounge

There are lounges located throughout the building which consist of cosy sitting areas where you can relax with your neighbours, watch TV or play (online) games.

Rooftop padel court

Student Experience Madrid Pozuelo has a padel court. You can use the sports field and the other facilities on the roof between 9 AM and 10 PM.

Can (photo)shoots be held?
Anyone can submit a request to use the location for a photo shoot or video shoot. The padel court has an area of 20 square meters by 10 square meters. This can be done for school or graduation projects, work, and commercial photo or video shoots. Send your request to communications@studentexperience.com.

Swimming pool

Get your swimming laps done in the gigantic pool located in the courtyard, or relax with friends in the smaller pool next to it. Both are open during the summer months. Opening times are subject to weather.

Gym

The gym is equipped with modern fitness equipment so you can train whenever you want.

Running track

An 800-meter running track wraps around the perimeter of the complex so you can get your exercise in!

Private dining room

Use the private dining room to cook dinner with your friends or family, celebrate your birthday or have a baking competition with your best friend.

You can reserve the private dining room through our reception.

Hospitality

The location has a restaurant. You can select one of the meal plan options options: half board, full board, or none. If you choose no meal plan, you're still welcome in the restaurant to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at your convenience. Drinks and snacks are also available here.

Game corner

In the game corner you can prove you're the best at pool, table tennis or darts. In addition, it is possible to connect your own game console to the large television screen in the lounge.

Courtyard

This complex has its own courtyard. Several seating areas have been placed for lounging and enjoying the garden's flora and fauna.

Laundromat

You're welcome to do your laundry in the self-service laundromat, where you can use professional washing machines and dryers for a fee. Washing detergent is automatically added to every wash. Using your own detergent is not permitted and causes stains in your laundry.
An ironing board is also available in the laundry room. You can borrow an iron at the reception.

Printer and copier

In the lounge of the complex there is a copy, print and scan machine present. You can make use of it for a fee.

Parcel service

Have you placed an online order or received a package that does not fit through the letterbox? We have a digital concierge that temporarily stores the parcel. Pick up the package from the SmartPoint as soon as you have time.

Indoor bicycle parking

There is an indoor bicycle parking in every location. That way, you can park your bike safely and in a dry spot! If there is space, you can also park your scooter here.

Parking garage

Do you want to park your car, or do you have friends visiting by car? That's possible in the garage underneath the complex. If you're staying at Student Experience, you can use the parking for free upon availability. 

Charging stations for e-cars

The parking garage has 30 electric charging stations powered by solar energy to ensure your car is always charged and ready to go.

Vending machine

Care for a snack? There are vending machines present where you can pick up a snack or something to drink. 

Smart rental unit

At the TULU smart rental unit, you can rent handy items such as a vacuum cleaner, game consoles, board games, and more! The contents of the TULU units vary per location, so go and check it out and find out which amazing items you can rent at your location! Download the TULU app to start. 

Sustainable living

Our building has the highest energy certification label: A. It features rainwater recycling and sedum plantings to protect local flora and fauna. It also has more than 1,000 square meters of solar panels to provide the studios with energy.

Medical facilities

Accessing medical services
Here are some useful links to access public health care in the neighborhood: general practitioner and online health card application. You need a health card to be treated at any public primary care center. More information on how to get medical care in Spain here.

Dentist
For dental care, we recommend Clinica Gulin where Student Experience residents can enjoy a 15% discount on all dental services. How do you claim it? Simple! Book an appointment and upon arrival show proof that you’re a Student Experience Madrid Pozuelo resident by showing a confirmation letter or access to your service portal for example. It’s that easy. Take care of your smile!

    Pozuelo de Alarcón is close to some major universities, such as ESIC and Universidad Complutense, and you'll have easy access to the city center by public transport or using the shared cars at Student Experience. See it as an urban oasis, where you get to enjoy Madrid's metropolitan vibes while having the possibility to retreat into tranquility at Madrid Pozuelo.
