You must be 16 years of age or older to stay at Student Experience, provided you have permission from a parent or guardian to enter into the contract. From the age of 18, you can enter into a contract by yourself.

You can stay at this location as a student, also if you are enrolled at an educational institution abroad. This can be for a study program, an internship, or a Ph.D., for example.

All Student Experience studios are exclusively available for students. You can upload proof of enrollment during the booking journey, or later in your service portal. 

When you check in, you must be registered as a student at an educational institution.

Your proof of enrollment must contain the following information:

• Your name
• Study program
• Whether you're a full- or part-time student
• The name of your school
• The academic year

When booking a studio, you can choose a service package that fits your lifestyle. You'll find different studios under each package, so you can live your student life exactly the way you like.

Each specific package includes a set of services, from essential basics to all-inclusive options. Your service package also determines practical details like how often your studio is cleaned (monthly, biweekly, or weekly), which amenities are included (such as bathroom and kitchen sets), and any additional extras.

Contracts at Student Experience Granada have a minimum duration of 1 month and a maximum of 12 months. You have the flexibility to stay as long as you want!

When booking, you can choose a studio available within different academic terms, each with a specific start and end date.

Want to extend your stay? Before your contract ends, simply reach out to us. We’ll also contact you in advance to offer the option to rebook.

Shorter stays < 1 month are also possible and can be booked via our shortstay platform.

Once you have made your studio selection, switching to a different studio is not possible. Your contract will be finalized based on the studio you selected during the online booking process.

In exceptional cases where relocation becomes essential, for example, due to a technical issue, we will contact you personally.

To register at your new address, you can choose between online or in-person options: 

• Online: Follow the steps on Granada’s city hall website. You’ll need a digital certificate from FNMT, a virtual ID, or a permanent Cl@ve (digital authentication tool).
• In-person: Schedule an appointment here.

Most studios at Student Experience Granada are designed for single occupancy. However, we do have a few studios specifically designed for sharing. You can view these shared studios here.

Housesitting it is not permitted. Subletting without our permission (renting your studio to someone else) and cohabitation (living with someone) are not permitted and result in a fine for violating the contract.

The house rules contain essential information to make your stay in the building as pleasant as possible. The latest version of the house rules is applicable. You can read the house rules here.

It’s not allowed to bring pets into any Student Experience location. This rule includes owning a pet in your studio, temporarily taking care of someone’s pet (pet sitting), or a visitor bringing a pet along to your studio or in the communal areas. 

Our house rules are here to help everyone feel safe, comfortable, and at home. We ask residents to be considerate of their neighbors, keep shared spaces tidy, follow safety guidelines, and register visitors when needed. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas, and everyone is expected to take good care of their studio and the communal spaces.

The cost of student housing in Granada varies depending on the type of housing you're looking for. At Student Experience Granada, prices are subject to service package and length of stay. Check our prices overview for studios at Student Experience Granada.  

At Student Experience Granada you can live an all-in student life!

The monthly price covers VAT, electricity, water, internet, cleaning and municipal taxes. This also includes 24/7 security and access to facilities such as the gym, rooftop padel court, swimming pool, study room, and more.    

Not included: 

• Meal plans or individual meals 
• Costs for washing and drying 

We offer two different meal plans: half board and full board. The prices can be found here. If you don't have a meal plan, you can purchase meals at DO EAT! at full price.

Yes, a deposit is required. This is to ensure that the studio remains tidy and that the furniture and facilities are left in good condition.

The deposit must be paid together with the first month's payment. The total cost of the deposit can be found in the price overview.

If everything is in order when you leave, you will get your deposit back. If there is damage to the studio or furniture, or if additional cleaning costs need to be incurred to get your studio ready for the next student, these costs will be deducted from your deposit.

Apart from the monthly studio price, other fees you need to consider are: 

• The down payment
• The reservation fee
• The deposit

The down payment must be paid during the booking process. It will then be deducted from your first invoice.

Not included in your monthly fee are: 

• Meal plans and individual meals
• Costs for washing and drying

The down payment is a non-refundable fee required to secure your studio. No studio is reserved for you until this payment is completed. You pay this fee in step 7 of the booking process. The down payment will be deducted from your first month's payment.

The deposit is a refundable security fee, which will be returned after check-out, provided the studio is left in good condition.

The reservation is an administrative fee covering the processing of your booking.

The reservation fee, the deposit, and your first month's fee together make up the total amount due for your first month's payment.

Your contract includes a fixed-price period, which means the studio price does not increase during your contract term.

Please note that our system requires at least one working day to process your online payment and update your payment overview. International payments may take up to 3 working days to process. For credit card payments, the duration varies depending on the customer's bank and may take up to two weeks before we receive the amount. Therefore, please ensure that credit card payments are completed at least two weeks in advance.

Your payment should be in our account before the 1st of the month. If this is not the case, a payment backlog occurs and we will send a reminder. If you fail to pay within 14 days, collection costs will be charged.

To avoid this, make sure to pay on time to prevent unnecessary costs.

You can settle your payment arrears through the service portal or app. 

Payment plan

Payment arrears can quickly add up, so it's important to find a solution quickly. In exceptional cases we can arrange a payment plan for this. This way you pay off your debt in installments.

The most important rules are:

• A payment plan can be arranged no more than once every 12 months. We calculate this from the end date of the last payment plan.
• The backlog may not increase any further, the monthly rent must be paid on time just like the amount of the payment plan.
• Do you not comply with the arrangements made in the payment plan? Then the arrangement will be terminated and the bailiff will be engaged.

Setting up a direct debit takes approximately 10 working days. To arrange your direct debit for next month on time, please complete the setup before 15th of the prior month. For example: are you setting up direct debit for August, then make sure to set it up before July 15.

Student Experience Granada studios are all 17m² and come fully furnished with a private kitchen and bathroom. The studio height is approximately 275 cm.

Adapted studios of up to 21.3 m² are available for students with reduced mobility. These studios are not visible in the studio selector but can be requested during the booking process by indicating that you have reduced mobility.

Internet

At Student Experience Granada, Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the premises, and you can use the ethernet plugs which are installed in the studio. Please note that ethernet cables are not included.

Wi-Fi connection details are provided to you at check-in and are always available at the reception.

Television

Your studio is equipped with a TV and a Chromecast device, allowing you to enjoy a large list of international TV channels. You can also connect your own accounts of streaming services.

Your studio in Granada features an AC unit for heating and cooling, so you can always set your ideal temperature.

Cleaning service is included and depending on your studio type the frequency can vary. 

• Essential and Shared: Monthly 
• Signature: Bi-weekly 
• Prestige: Weekly 

This includes general cleaning of the floor, surfaces, and bathroom. Towels and linens are also replaced during each cleaning. 

Hanging items on the wall or drilling into it is not allowed. If you'd like to bring a memento from home, consider a photo frame you can place on a surface.

As a resident, you'll get access to a service portal and app. Here, you can:

The reception is open from 7 days a week from 6 AM to 10 PM. Questions or do you want to book the dining room? You're welcome here!

If the duty manager isn't at the reception desk, they're likely busy with repairs, maintenance, or another task in the complex or in a studio. You can reach them by phone using the number listed at the reception desk or in the service portal.

A duty manager is on site between 6 AM and 10 PM. From 10 PM to 6 AM, a night security guard is on duty in the complex. In addition, security cameras have been installed at various locations in and around the complex.

The shared facilities and the elevators and staircases to all floors are accessible only with a personal access card. Each student is issued a maximum of one card to prevent unauthorized access.

Student Experience Granada has an on-site restaurant, DO EAT!. When you apply for a studio, you can add a meal plan to your studio booking. Read everything about meal plans here.  

If there's something in your studio or a communal area that requires repair, please submit a repair request. You can schedule an appointment with the duty manager or authorize us to fix the issue even if you're not at home.

For emergencies, please call the duty manager directly. You can find their number in your service portal.

Are your neighbors causing disturbance with loud music or household waste? This is how you get it sorted!

1. Talk
It's important first to discuss the issue with your neighbors. They may not even be aware of the disturbance they're causing. Stay calm and friendly and be understanding of each other's situation. If this doesn't help, you can proceed to step 2.

2. Report a disturbance
If a conversation did not help solve the situation, you can report the disturbance to us in the service portal. We will look at a fitting solution.

Do you have a complaint? Report it so that you can live carefree again. We will pick up your complaint as soon as possible.

If it's an immediate complaint, for example about noise, you can file your complaint (anonymously) to the duty manager or security guard. Unfortunately, we're not able to respond quickly enough to complaints via email (especially during the weekend) to resolve the situation immediately.

Yes! At Student Experience Granada, we take care of the communal areas and provide a general studio cleaning every two weeks, so you have more time to focus on your studies, friends, and student life. You’ll still be responsible for keeping your studio tidy and arranging any extra deep cleaning if needed.

Your safety matters too. The residence has key-card access, CCTV, on-site staff, and security support, helping you feel safe and at home throughout your stay.

You’ll have your own personal mailbox that matches your studio number. When you move in, you’ll receive a key for it so you can pick up your letters and small deliveries easily.

Did you order something online? Make sure that you're at home when this is delivered. The receptionist or duty manager is not responsible for accepting your parcels, nor can they sign for them. Are you not going to be at home? Then have the parcel delivered to a Pick-Up point in the area, such as Correos or Amazon.

If you stay at Granada, you can also have your package delivered to the SmartPoint in the building. With the SmartPoint, you can securely receive packages. If you use SmartPoint, please add the User Code (provided to you in the welcome email) + CÓDIGO TAQUILLA. See how it works in the video manual!

Did you receive a tracking code that your package was delivered at Student Experience Granada, but you have yet to see a parcel? Then go to reception; they may be able to help you out.

The building has a private dining room. It can be reserved via the reception. The space can be used during the week until 9:45 PM and on Friday and Saturday until 11:45 PM. 

You have received a laundry bag from us, which you can use when you do your laundry at our laundromat. You can use the laundromat for a fee by installing appWash by Miele on your phone. Payments can be made using a debit or a credit card. Costs for washing and drying are 3 euros. To make sure there is enough space for everyone to use the washing and drying machines, please note that:

• You use one washing or drying machine at a time.
• You get your laundry out of the machines as soon as it's ready. Tip: set your alarm!
• You don't leave any bags or baskets behind in the laundromat.

By thinking of your neighbors, you will receive good karma points and probably make some friends too. ;)

The gym is open every day from 7 AM - 9 PM and equipped with modern fitness equipment from Technogym. Exercise here at your time of day!

The complex has an underground parking garage where you can park (electric) cars and scooters. The entrance to the parking garage is located on Calle Menéndez Pelayo, next to the reception entrance on the left.

If you stay at Student Experience, you can use the parking garage as long as there is space. Parking costs depend on the service package you choose:

• Essential & shared: €50/month
• Signature: included in the price
• Prestige: included in the price

You can dispose of your waste in the recycling room on floor 0. Please use the correct containers:

Paper/cardboard & plastic/drinking cartons/metal: Orange self‑compacting containers

1. Open the top door and deposit your waste inside
2. Place your waste inside and close the door
3. Press the green button on the left (not the one with the green light)
4. The container will compact the waste automatically

Glass: Black container

Bulky Waste

Bulky waste includes large items that do not fit in the regular containers, such as electrical goods, appliances, and furniture. They can be disposed of free of charge at the nearest recycling centre (Punto Limpio): C. Nelson Mandela, Parcela 15, 18100 Armilla, Granada

(Before taking your bulky waste, please check which items are accepted and how disposal works at the facility.)

Dentist

For dental care, we recommend Medyclinic where Student Experience residents can enjoy free dental insurance including over 30 services at no cost, subject to a doctor’s prescription, and a 15% discount on other dental treatments. How do you claim it? Simple! Book an appointment and upon arrival show proof that you’re a Student Experience Granada by showing a confirmation letter or access to your service portal for example. It’s that easy. Take care of your smile!

Yes! At Student Experience Granada, staying active is easy. You’ll have access to an on-site gym, outdoor fitness facilities, a swimming pool, and a rooftop padel court. We also organize plenty of monthly activities, such as our run club, so you can work out, have fun, and meet other residents along the way.

Requirements  

You have signed a contract to live at Student Experience, but you changed your mind or cannot move in due to special circumstances. The cancellation policy depends on the situation, you can find more details below. You need a compelling reason to terminate your contract early. Examples of this are: you have been declined from your studies or cannot come to Spain anymore. In order to process a request for early termination of your contract, we need proof. The proof is, for example, a rejection letter from your educational institution.  

> 30 days to contract start date 

If you want to terminate your contract > 30 days before the start date of your contract and you have a compelling reason with supporting proof, you may cancel without having to pay the charges included in the first month’s payment (studio fee, deposit, and reservation fee). Please note that the down payment made to reserve your studio is non-refundable. 

< 30 days to contract start date

If you want to terminate your contract you must provide a compelling reason along with supporting proof. A compelling reason typically refers to an unforeseen situation beyond the resident’s control.

If your termination request is approved, you will be required to pay the studio fee for the first month and the reservation fee. Your deposit will be refunded within 30 days after the adjusted contract end date. Please note that the down payment made to reserve your studio is non-refundable.

After your contract start date 

If you want to terminate the contract earlier than the contract end date, this will only be possible if you have a compelling reason and valid proof for it. A compelling reason typically refers to an unforeseen situation beyond the resident’s control.  

Upon approval, a one-month (30 days) notice period applies. This means that you will be allowed to stay in the complex for one month after the date on which you submitted the application. You will be charged an early termination fee of € 990, along with the payment of the studio fee until the new end date. The deposit will be refunded in accordance with your contract. Please note that the down payment made to reserve your studio is non-refundable. 

You can find someone to take over the agreement under the same conditions to avoid the early termination fee. The takeover process will incur an administration fee of € 250. 

If the early termination request is not approved, you must pay the studio fee until the end of the contract. For the complete cancellation policy, refer to the contract and general terms and conditions. 

When you stay at Student Experience Granada, you do not have to terminate your contract. Your contract will end automatically on the end date stated in your contract. If you want to stay longer, please contact us by e-mail.

Before you leave, you'll need to leave the studio clean and tidy. If this is not the case and the studio needs to be cleaned professionally, you'll be charged a cleaning fee or part of your deposit will be withheld. 

Cleaning 

It's important to do a thorough cleaning. Not sure what to do or which products to use? In our checklist, we've made that easy for you. :) 

Repairs 

If something in your studio is broken, you will need to submit a repair request before you leave so the duty manager can fix it before your departure. 

Unfortunately, transferring your studio to a friend or family member is not possible. To ensure fairness for all studio seekers at Student Experience, your studio will be listed on the website for others to apply.

However, you can refer your friends to our website, where they can register and apply for available studios.

Emptying the studio 

Please take all your personal belongings with you and leave the studio in the same condition as it was delivered to you. Please make sure to leave the linen and towel package in the studio when you leave.

Check-out 

The latest check-out time is 11 AM on the end date of your contract. Of course, you can check out earlier than the last date, but this does not affect your monthly costs. You have to personally hand in the keys of the studio at the reception, so that the duty manager knows that you have checked out.

You have paid a deposit for your studio. Before you get it back, we will settle any outstanding costs, such as payment arrears or costs for repairs in the studio.

If you pay your rent via direct debit, we will refund (the remainder of) the deposit one month after the end of the contract. We will also stop the direct debit.

If you don't pay your rent via direct debit, make sure to send us your bank details a month before you leave so we can refund (the remainder of) the deposit one month after the end of the contract.
