Student Experience opens its doors in Leiden
We are super excited to announce that our newest location in Leiden has opened today. Located in the heart of Bio Science Park, this complex marks an important milestone for Student Experience as it’s the first location outside Amsterdam to operate in the Netherlands.
Student Experience Leiden will become a home for 700 students as they advance their student life, with various facilities to support their studies, such as study rooms and meeting rooms, and amenities to support the life around their studies, such as a cinema room and a game room.
Welcome to the first residents!
Today, July 28, we handed over the first keys. In the next few days and weeks, we will welcome all residents into their new studios. The opening weekend (July 28 - August 1) is marked with a joyful ambiance, a summery ice cream stand, and various snacks to fuel the residents during their move-in. Our dedicated Student Experience team is there to ensure a smooth transition for the residents into their new home: from helping them navigate the building to answering any questions they may have.

A brand-new studio
The spacious studios are fully furnished and equipped with a brand-new bathroom and kitchen, so moving into the new studios will be smooth and easy. This allows residents to embrace a flexible and environmentally conscious lifestyle. This philosophy plays a central role in this generation, and we made sure this new location holds up to the highest standards by adding solar panels, and through recycling rainwater. The studios can be personalized with picture frames, colorful bedding, rugs, plants, and pillows.
Meet your neighbors
The shared spaces cater to each individual and their interests and needs so everyone can feel at home at Student Experience. There are study rooms and meeting rooms for those looking to focus on their studies. The shared lounges, game corners, and rooftop terraces invite residents to relax and meet each other. They can reserve a private dining room or cinema room for cozy and intimate activities with friends. On top of that, we will organize events and activities to help new residents meet their neighbors and create a close-knit community.
