But that doesn't mean you can't vibe with the community, though! You'll find plenty of people socializing in the lounges and courtyard who are happy to have you join them. With all these friendly faces around, you'll find a supportive environment that feels just right. And if you're in the mood for some excitement, a quick bike ride will take you to Rivierenbuurt and De Pijp, where you will find the city’s best bars and terraces. The vibes at Amsterdam Amstel are a mix of laid-back and creative energy, making it the perfect place for those who like to switch it up. 

Amsterdam NDSM

Our location on the NDSM wharf in Amsterdam is your go-to complex if you like to do things just a little differently. This area is creative and upcoming, with plenty of new hot spots popping up out of nowhere. Having the largest second-hand market in Europe basically in your backyard, you'll probably have a unique and extravagant-looking wardrobe and interior. Amsterdam Noord is lively (and getting livelier by the week) but still a lot calmer than some other areas in the city. You're going to have a love-hate relationship with the ferry, but once the sun hits your skin, the wind whips through your hair, and you can hear the water splashing, you'll feel immensely grateful for this delightful 15-minute trip to Central Station.
