Scary movie night

What’s Halloween without some good old horror movies? Whether you prefer a movie night in or a movie night out, this will really get you in those freaky Halloween vibes. Work your way through the list of all-time scariest movies, watch a new horror movie in the cinema, or – if you live in Amsterdam Amstel – sign up for Chill & Thrill, the scary movie night happening on October 31 from 8 PM!

Halloween parties

Pull out your scariest outfit ‘cause it’s time to party. Around Amsterdam, you’ll find plenty of parties, and if you’re in Leiden, you can visit NEXT for a wicked Halloween night. Living at Amsterdam NDSM? You’re in luck because the NDSM Event Committee is organizing Heaven ‘n Hell, a fun Halloween party at the location. If you are in Madrid, Lula Club, one of the coolest places on Gran Via, has planned a Ha•LULA•Ween Party. Bake spooky treats

Do you love baking and cooking? Prepare some Halloween-themed goodies, from ghost-shaped cookies to bloody red velvet cupcakes. Like always, Pinterest is your go-to place to find inspiration. For the best classic Halloween snacks, take a look at these creepy (but delicious) recipes. Don’t have an oven? Escape rooms are a fun activity for those who like interactive games. And in this season, the scarier, the better! Carve a pumpkin

Looking to do something a little less scary but a little more creative? Invite some friends over for a traditional day of pumpkin carving. Get some pumpkins, sharpies, a bowl, some knives and spoons, and something to cover your table. Now, all you need is a spooky playlist, some cozy lights, and Halloween-themed snacks, and you’re good to go! Are you staying in Madrid?
