Fiesta de la Castaña

Fall in Granada isn't complete without the comforting smell of roasted chestnuts. The Fiesta de la Castaña is a local tradition celebrating harvest season with roasted chestnuts, sweet wine or anise, music, and laughter around the fire. Some of the best celebrations happen in La Alpujarra villages, just a short drive from Granada:

  • Lanjarón – Thousands of chestnuts roasted in the main square, with live music and local sweets.
  • Capileira – A lively mix of wine, chestnuts, and folk music in one of the region’s most picturesque spots.
  • Dílar – A fun twist with spooky Halloween-style activities and, of course, chestnuts and anise shots.

Camela in concert – November 28

Get ready for an unforgettable night with Camela, one of Spain’s most beloved flamenco-pop artists. Expect passionate vocals, rhythmic beats, and an electric crowd singing along. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a curious newcomer, this concert promises a night full of authentic Andalusian emotion.

As you can read, there are plenty of activities to do in and around the complex. Enjoy this season
