Rent typically ranges from €500 to €1300, and you can get your weekly groceries for € 30 to € 50, depending on your eating habits. Want to eat out? In Madrid, you can usually get a meal for € 18 or less. Sometimes, restaurants offer an affordable ‘menú del día, where you'll get several courses and often a drink included. Transport is affordable, especially for students. Those under 26 years can get a monthly metro pass for just € 20.  

Work
