Studios and sizes
The Student Experience Leiden studios have a floor space between 18 m² to 25 m² and include a private kitchen and bathroom. For all floor plans and prices, check the

Furniture
At this location, you are provided with a fully furnished studio. Everything you need to make it cozy, including a double bed (120x200cm), a table with chairs, a closet, a desk, and curtains. Kitchen
The kitchen features a countertop, including a sink. You'll find an overhead shelf in studio types 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, and 2F to store your kitchen utensils. All other studios have cabinets. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-pit ceramic cooking hob and extractor hood, a fridge, a bin, and a combi-microwave. Kitchen utensils, such as pans and plates, are not included. Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet. There is a large mirror above the sink.
Floor
Every studio has a light-colored PVC floor and is easy to clean.
Key card access
The studio comes with a key card for easy and secure access to the complex.
Hanging items on the wall
It is not possible to hang items on the wall. Do you wish to bring a memento from home? Then consider a photo frame you can set down somewhere.
Internet connection
WiFi is provided for your comfort throughout the location premises. You don't need to prepare your own cable and router.
Conditions
Study conditions
To rent a studio at Student Experience Leiden, you must follow a full-time or part-time study at Leiden University.
Please note: We only accept conditional proof of enrolment for the upcoming academic year (starting in September) from June onwards. If you are not currently enrolled as a student, you are not eligible to apply for our studios (yet).
Long stay location
Student Experience Leiden is a long-stay location. Contracts are offered with a minimum period of one year. You can find the exact start date of the contract in the studio advertisement. After the first 12 months, you can terminate the contract at any point with a notice period of one month.
Communicating relocation
Are you relocating to Leiden from abroad?
Schedule an appointment with the municipality to register (this appointment happens in person). It must take place within five working days after moving. Make sure to schedule it in advance by filling in a form via

Registration days At the beginning of each semester (September and February), Leiden University holds special town hall registration sessions for newly-arriving students. At other times of the year, please make an appointment directly with the town hall. You can find detailed information about this subject on the university’s English-language website.
You must register as a resident at your own address, for example, Lise Meitnerweg + your studio number, 2333 CZ, Leiden. You can use your contract as a burden of proof.
Are you relocating within the Netherlands?
Are you moving to Leiden, or are you moving within Leiden? You can report this from 4 weeks in advance to 5 days after your move. You indicate your change of address
