Casa de Campo
One of the most famous attractions in Pozuelo is Casa de Campo, the largest park in Madrid. It's located a few metro stops away from city center and it's the perfect place to enjoy outdoor activities when trying to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. In here, you'll find hiking trails, biking areas and a small lake where you can rent a boat and go for a paddle. Perfect for nature-lovers!
Inside Casa de Campo, you can also find many attractions: Teleférico de Madrid provides some of the best views of the city. If you are one of those who love adrenaline you cannot miss Madrid's Amusement Park. Also, you'll find many restaurants with terraces around the lake. Casa de Campo is a must-visit!
Parque Prados de Torrejón
Parque Prados de Torrejón is a smaller park. With a small lake, a playground, and several benches and picnic areas, it is the perfect spot to relax and have a picnic with your friends.
Eating out
Looking for a place to grab a bite? There are also many restaurants around Pozuelo. One of our favorites is Ochenta Grados. Take the bus and you will be there in 15 minutes. For delicious tapas, be sure to check out La Querida, which is just a quick 7-minute bus ride away. Bon appetit!
Groceries
If you prefer to prepare something at your studio with your own appliances or use the dining room, you can get all your groceries from the supermarkets nearby. At a 20 minutes' walk, you will find Supercor Exprés and not too far away is the Carrefour Hypermarket, one of the biggest ones in the area. You get there by metro ligero or by bus. You will have everything you need for an unforgettable meal!
Gas stations
At just 3 min walk from the residence you'll come across two gas stations: BP Somosaguas and Repsol Pozuelo. In each one of them you can get a range of supplies such as snacks, beverages, basic grocery items and other convenience articles.
Hospitals and pharmacies
Getting sick? Help is close by! There are various hospitals and pharmacies in the neighborhood. The University Hospital Quirónsalud Madrid, Grupo Médico Gazam S.L., and the Health Center Somosaguas are all within easy reach. And when it comes to pharmacies, there are a few options: Farmacia 12H is just a kilometer away and open every single day of the year - convenient, right? If you want to stretch your legs, you can walk to Farmacia Zoco Pozuelo in about 18 minutes. But if you are feeling lazy, you can hop on the bus and be at Farmacia Perez Perez in just 6 minutes.
Sports clubs
At Student Experience Madrid Pozuelo, you have access to a fully equipped gym, a paddle court and a swimming pool. If you want more options, you can join Polideportivo Campus de Somosaguas for a fee and participate in various sports activities like tennis, paddle, football, basketball, and swimming. The campus also hosts regular sports events and tournaments.
Club Hípico Somosaguas is a horseback riding school with a very nice restaurant. You can even ride a horse around Casa de Campo. Relax at its terrace afterwards!

Both of them feature a wide range of stores, including fashion, electronics, and home goods. They also offer a variety of dining options.
