Cafe del Teatro (Embajadores) 

Looking for a chill café to do your work? Cafe del Teatro is located in the neighborhood of Embajadores, where people can actually take their dogs inside! The location has excellent Wi-Fi, lots of outlets and delicious pastries and coffee, not to mention the little furry friends to keep you motivated. While the staff does not speak English too well, you can always count on their kindness. 

La Bicicleta (Malasaña) 

La Bicicleta is a can’t-miss cafe and definitely not your usual spot. Apart from having a workspace and good coffee, you also get to enjoy its urban vibe and creative artworks. It’s the best place for a long session of productivity with free Wi-Fi, lots of outlets and lockers, as well as tables for group or individual work. We do recommend getting there during weekdays and in the morning or early afternoon as it can get very busy afterwards. English is spoken inside the cafe, so don’t worry about any communication barriers.

Cafe Del Art (Latina) 

Café del Art is a cozy and creative specialty coffee shop that combines quality coffee with a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it ideal for relaxing, meeting friends, or working on your laptop. The café offers a lot of natural light and thoughtful décor, and its menu includes a variety of specialty coffees, pastries, and brunch items (We heard their avocado toas is a must try). With free WiFi, power outlets, and a generally calm environment during mornings and early afternoons, Café del Art is a popular spot for students, remote workers, and coffee lovers. 

Clima Cafecito (Chamberí) 

Clima Cafecito is a trendy, cozy café that’s well-liked for its specialty coffee, brunch style food and relaxed atmosphere. The space is casual and lively but not overly noisy, with both indoor seating and a pleasant terrace for sunny days. While it’s more known for its food and coffee than as a dedicated work café, visitors often use it with laptops or quiet chats, especially during quieter hours. It’s a nice place for short study sessions as they don’t provide that many outlets throughout the location, however they do have free Wi-Fi.

Federal (Chamberi)

Federal Café is a bright, modern café near UCM with comfortable seating, free WiFi, and a relaxed vibe, ideal for studying, working on a laptop, or grabbing brunch with friends. 

Brutal (Plaza del Ángel) 

Known for its excellent coffee and brunch options, Brutal is a stylish space with plenty of seating and a welcoming atmosphere. A lot of students and remote workers recommend it for short to medium study sessions as the Wi-Fi is excellent, but no outlets are guaranteed, so make sure to ask the staff beforehand.  

Drømme Kaffe House 

Drømme Kaffe House is a modern café in Madrid known for its peaceful vibe and a popular spot for students, freelancers, and remote workers who want to study, work on their laptops, or enjoy a quiet coffee break. The café offers free WiFi, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light, making it ideal for focused work sessions. While outlets are available in some areas, it’s best to ask staff if you need a spot to charge your devices. Beyond being a workspace, Drømme Kaffe House also serves high-quality coffee, pastries, and light meals, creating a space where you can stay productive while savoring great food and drinks.

Café de luz (Malasaña) 

Café de la Luz is a cozy, vintage style café in the Malasaña / Centro area of Madrid that’s loved for its inviting atmosphere and relaxed social vibe, a great choice if you want a place to meet people, chat with friends, or hang out between classes.
